It may be said that tough and difficult circumstances bring out the best and the worst of human behavior. Personal scruples and moral principles translate into ethical and philosophical attitudes and conduct. They are expressed, literally, both verbally and in actual deeds of individuals. Parties on both sides of a proposition become vocal in expression and demonstration to promote or defend their position or their territory.
Personal agendas and matters of business and human relations can blossom or wilt and wither depending upon the cultivation and nurturing that takes place; they are greatly dependent upon where the seeds are grounded. These matters play out by principals and agents in all kinds of transactions. Third parties who are vendors and service providers can influence an outcome by how their assignments are fulfilled and the care and concern they show for the intended outcome and the desired result for which they were engaged or employed.
It is natural for most normal human beings to take sides or act upon a situation based upon the bias one has toward a matter and based upon the experience or frame of reference one has. Perhaps the following few lines from my poem: "ETHICS-ALL IN THE GOLDEN RULE" have some application to this topic:

"When it comes to work or serving others we reflect the way we think.
The tie between thought and deed forms a direct personal link.

We put together all we've learned and all we've done through the years;
Our lives give back all we've put in and we experience joy or tears.

Our conduct is motivated by our values and we use our beliefs as a tool.
Do we do what we do because it is the law? Or do we live by the Golden Rule?

To reach the top and be our best we'll have concern for others;
Do the right thing just because it's right-be friends with our sisters and brothers."
